Gameplay test

My gameplay is based on balancing my hero's emotions. Equilibrioception or sense of balance is one of the physiological senses. It helps prevent humans and animals from falling over when walking or standing still. In humans, equilibrioception is mainly governed by the visual system.


When a person is intence, realy afraid of a situation, is experiencing a balance disorder. A disturbance that causes an individual to feel unsteady, for example when standing or walking. It may be accompanied by feelings of giddiness, or wooziness, or having a sensation of movement, spinning, or floating.


On the contrary, when someone is realy confortable, for a long time and there is nothing to excite him there is what we call Lethargy, or the quality or state of being drowsy and dull, listless and unenergetic,or indifferent and lazy; apathetic or sluggish inactivity.




So the gameplay based on those ideas, is a Confort or Balance Bar. Stating that there is a little truth on both sides, so we need to be in balace, the Balance bar, needs to be constantly in the middle.


The mechanic is based on the space. There levels are divides in 3 zones, one that accelerates the feeling, one that reduce it and one that has no effect on that. When the main character is at the first the fill amount of the Balance Bar gets high, when the person is at the second zone, the fill amound drops and when he is at the thrid, nothing happens.


The player has to be constantly in balance.
