About Me

 

Im an undergratuated student of the Architectural Engineering department of Democritus University of Thrace.

 

I believe that architecture functions as the mediator between space and human interaction. Architecture had always provided solutions for the various needs and problems humanity faced through the ages. Architecture always dealt with the function of space and it's interaction with people.

 

Architects are designing spaces, taking into consideration, the physical interaction, the materials, the scenery, and the artistic cuture of every society, at all times.

 

The digital era of our modern society shaped the contemporary culture of our times and gave uncountable possibilities of the digital spacial design. The space of a Videogame is an excellent example of a digital space with the values of architectural space. That digital space is beeing handled by a player in order to satisfying some of their needs, be amused.

 

At my research thesis, "Architecture and Videogames" I also worked on the relation between those two spatial fields, but in a theoretical level.

This is my diploma project thesis.

 

My diploma thesis is the Design of a Videogame's Spatial Environment. During that time, I seek to examine the values of digital space in relation with architectural designing, and to understand the ways both fields bennefit from each other. 

 

I aim to create the space, the dymanic, and the aesthetics, of a digital architectural space, that will be the vessel of a Videogame experience.
